TNNA was a blast. We drove down Thursday night (literally overnight) and arose to visit Knitting in La Jolla where Amy Singer, editor of Knitty and author of the upcoming No Sheep For You was hanging out. We had a great time there, admiring the owner's Spanish Dancer knit in Lorna's DK Swirl and the yarn Amy picked out to knit her own Spanish Dancer.
We attended the fashion show (always hit and miss in the designs) and strolled the aisles upon aisles upon aisles of yarn. There is just too much gorgeousness for words out there in the yarn world - and we touched most of it.
There are always knitting celebrities at TNNA and this one was no exception: Kaffe Fassett (Nathania's favorite), Brandon Mably, Erika Knight, Cat Bordhi, Tara Jon Manning, Mel Clark, Stephanie Japel, Melissa Leapman, Nicki Epstein, Maie Landra, Pam Allen, Iris Schreier, Annie Modesitt, and Lily Chin to name but a few.
