Here is Elizabeth in her fabulous new Ariann.  She knit the collar a little longer and look how it fans out beautifully.

It is knit in Blue Moon Fiber Arts WooBoo in the Motley Hue colorway.

Julie came in sporting her flaming
double knit hat.

 Check out the flames on one side and the stripes on the other.  This hat was knit using the doubleknit technique to create both sides at the same time.

 

Somebody is gonna be rocking the house with this hat!  It's knitted in Cascade 220 Superwash.

Sarah's Monkey Socks

We've been oooohing and aaaaaahing over Sarah's Monkey socks every time she brings them in. She's been obsessed with the project, deeply dippy in love with the Gypsum colorway in Socks That Rock Lightweight. We couldn't agree more. When she brought in the first finished sock we couldn't resist snapping a couple of pics.

The pattern is the perpetually popular Monkey by our dear friend Cookie A. It's an easy lace pattern to memorize and goes very quickly. STR, Claudia Fingering, and several other of our glorious sock yarns make a perfect substitution for the yarn called for in the pattern.

More Ribbys!

Cynthia wasn't able to join us for the festivities on Saturday, but she finished her Ribby Pulli, just the same. Her beautiful Ribby is knit in Dream in Color Classy in the Dusky Aurora colorway. Classy is one of our new favorite yarns and we're in love with this color. Must order more!

Sandi fell in love with the Art Yarns Supermerino in color number 132. It took a while to come up with the perfect color to coordinate, but in the end some lovely Cascade 220 won the race. She was just *this* close to finishing it for Saturday, but didn't quite make it. Yesterday afternoon she put the final rows on the neckline and cast that baby off! 

Surprise! Her Scoop Neck Ribby has a hood. She combined the instructions of the Scoop Neck version with the Hoodie version and voila! She's pleased as punch with the result.

We still have Ribby fever around here. Nathania's plotting a V-neck version. Will you Ribby too?

FOs at Purlescence

Congratulations are in order for Kelli, who finished her first pair of socks in Claudia Hand Painted Yarns' Team in Training color!

We'd also like to congratulate Mari on completing her first half marathon for Team in Training, wearing her new hat also in Claudia's Team in Training color in the worsted weight yarn.  Go, Mari!

Sarah came in to show us her fabulous new hat and socks!

Made from Cascade 109 le,  this hat is Pretty in Punk, a new book which should arrive on our shelves soon.  Great job!

She also made this wonderful sock out of Mountain Colors Barefoot in their Juniper colorway.  What fun!

Sharks Socks

Just in time for the playoffs! Cynthia finished two pairs of sock in the Sharks fingering weight for her and her BF to wear to the games. We just put in an order for more fingering weight, plus some sport weight, just perfect for knitting up a pair of mitts or fingerless gloves. We expect them to arrive in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, we've still got plenty of worsted weight in stock.
