Here I am ready to go to Mendocino with my Schacht Wolf Pup loaded into my Prius. See how nicely she fits right in? And she's warped up and can be set up and ready to weave in about 15 minutes.
Monday morning I report to the Mendocino Arts Center Weaving Studio and get my Pup set up. This is how it looked that first morning.
Got my warp measured using a warping board. Mine comes from Ashford. I tied it up for transport and headed over to my loom.

I'm standing just out of this shot. I'm holding all the warp threads ready to wind onto the back beam. As the winding begins I had to hold the tension tight.
Here I am threading through the heddles and reed.

As a good student I was great at making errors so that my instructor could show everyone the fix. I've made a threading error and had to pull a section of my warp threads out of the reed and heddles and rethread. A great learning experience for me.

My little Pup ready to weave. My warp threads are tied onto the breast beam and I'm ready to go.

Here is my lovely Triple Draught Bird's Eye Twill! I'm making a set of cotton napkins on an 8 dent reed with dk weight cotton knitting yarn.
I'm so happy with my Wolf Pup, she's the perfect size for weaving up to 18 inch wide 4 harness patterns. She has direct tie up shafts or harnesses for easy weaving!
